For senior organisational consultants and coaches who wish to deepen and expand their ability to work with the unconscious dynamics in their client organisations. These groups have been running since 2020, with great results.

I am delighted to invite you to join a Consultancy Training Group!

​The groups are specifically for consultants, coaches and managers who wish to deepen and expand their ability to work with the unconscious dynamics affecting the organisations and leaders they work with.
The group has space for 7 – 12 participants and our meetings include:

  • Working with the unconscious (by means of dreams, free association and the here-and-now);
  • Discussing vital literature (a selection of seminal articles, as well as Dr. Mannie Sher and Dr. David Lawlor’s An Introduction to Systems Psychodynamics);
  • Exploring case studies from our respective work situations;
  • Participants from all modalities of organisational consultancy, group work and coaching are welcome.

Participation for 2026 costs R13 800 (incl. VAT). This can be paid once-off, or over a period of six months.

Approach

The training groups are not taken as a curriculum-driven experience. Although each group runs over a series of six sessions, we don’t cover the exact same reading material in each group. This means it is possible for me to adapt the reading material to the experience level of the group, as well as to processes playing out in the group, which we could then explore further by reading and discussing literature pertaining to the specific dynamics we are experiencing in the group. Most participants, therefore, sign up for more than one series of six sessions, and there are participants who have been attending the groups now since their inception in 2020.

The weaving together of the dreams emanating from our social dreaming matrix, the theory that we collaboratively make sense of, our experience in the here-and-now and the action learning sets (discussion of cases using the Balint method), makes for a truly containing and enlightening experience.

To deepen and expand our ability to work with the unconscious dimensions of organisations.
